HTC One X9 HTC One X9 boasts of the same design philosophy that the brand aopted in its One A9 Aero smartphone. It comes with the same sleek metal body that reminded many of iPhone 6 albeit with several subtle design changes. Htc One X9 features a protruding plastic band running on top of the rear panel, which resemble the bump on the back of Huawei Nexus 6P. Moreover, HTC has opted for an interesting way of incorporating the front firing speaker in the upper and lower bezels of the handset. Display HTC One X9 comes with a larger 5.5-inch display that is a delight to watch multimedia content and playing games. It also offers a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, which means watching high resolution content on the handset is a breeze. The display of the handset is also protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for added durability. User Experience HTC Sense X9 comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system pre- installed in it, which means goodies like Material design and enhanced security features. However, the stock Android is further enhanced by HTC's Sense UI, which in our opinion is slightly bloated and lags. The only pros of the device is HTC's Blinkfeed, which provides all social network feed as well as other news if the user to choose to do so. Performance and Battery Life This handset comes with an Octa-core processor that has been clocked at 2.2 GHz for a powerful performance. It also has 3 GB of RAM that means there is no or next to no lags in the performance of this handset. The rear panel of the handset houses a good 3000 mAh battery that has been designed to last a day on moderate usage. Camera Technology There is a 13 Megapixels primary snapper on the rear panel of this handset that can be used for candid photography. Moreover, there is a 5 Megapixels front camera on his handset for those who like to click selfies. Connectivity On the connectivity front, this handset from Htc is a dual SIM device with support for both 4G LTE and 3G. It also features Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, microUSB, Bluetooth and GPS for those who connect their handsets with more than one gadgets at a time. Verdict HTC One X9 is a pleasant detour by the brand from it usual design and specs, which is a pleasant change for us. If you an HTC loyalist and are bored of the same old metal unibody design and design, HTC One X9 will make for a good change without losing out on HTC goodies. |
